Hanka Stanislawska and Marcin Zajaczek

Stanislaw Kostka Catholic Church in Leeds. Both moved to the UK from their home country of Poland and have struck up a friendship through their church drama group.

Pastor Peter Parkinson

Crag House Farm Community – Caring For Life

Nearly thirty years ago, Peter was confronted by a group of homeless men who attended one of his Baptist ministries in Leeds. This inspired him to set up Caring For Life - a place where vulnerable and socially excluded people can re-build their lives.

Natasha Richardson

Natasha receives ongoing help and support from Caring For Life and has recently become a Christian. We see her baptism and hear how this Easter will be particularly special for her.

Father Samuel Kouspoyenis

Fr Samuel is the parish priest at Leeds’ only Greek Orthodox church. The congregation at the Church Of The Three Hierarchs includes professionals who have come to work in the city and hundreds of students from Greece and Cyprus who come to study at the regions’ universities.

Martha Papagiannopoulos

Martha and her family are regular worshippers at the Greek Orthodox Church in Leeds. They have been busy preparing for their Easter celebrations and talk to us about why this is the most important religious event in the Orthodox calendar.

Molly Lythe

Molly’s family dates back generations in the Moravian community of Fulneck, near Bradford. Today, the church means a lot to Molly - at Easter she returns to the place where she met her husband and generations of her family have been baptised, married and buried.
