    The invasion may be over but for all you out there that want to create your own  characters here are some great resources from around the BBC including How to Write  (with Michael Morpurgo and Phillip Pullman)  Writing for Walford (tips for writing for EastEnders) and Acting Around Words (tips for enhancing performances, referencing a variety of contemporary plays)

    The awards offers a £5,000 writing bursary and the chance of a Radio 4 drama commission to Northern writers new to radio.
