DJ, producer and musician Toddla T takes a journey through Jamaica to discover more about the relationship between Jamaican music and UK music.
In the first of two documentaries recorded in Jamaica, Toddla discovers how Jamaican music and culture has influenced the UK scene. He meets up with Jamaican artists and producers from Stylo G to Stephen McGregor, ends up in a music video shot in downtown Kingston and hears from UK-based musicians such as Maverick Sabre, Fuse ODG and Wretch 32.
Toddla is joined by his hero and Jamaican music expert, DJ David Rodigan. From reggae, punk, ska, hip hop, garage, grime, drum and bass to dubstep and more, they look at how the UK has been influenced by Jamaican music from the 50's right up to the present day.
