Day 14, Part 4

The afternoon's action is introduced by Clare Balding and focuses on short track speedskating, where thrills and spills are guaranteed. Great Britain will be hoping for a medal from Elise Christie in the women's 1,000m, her favourite event. It is also the final of the men's 500m, where the fastest men on skates will do battle. Charles Hamelin, who became one of the stars of his home Olympics at Vancouver 2010, will be defending his crown. The opposition will include Viktor Ahn, who won three golds for South Korea at the 2006 Winter Olympics, but who will be representing host nation Russia at these Games.

There are also regular updates on the women's slalom, where the second and final run is being held under the floodlights in the mountain resort of Rosa Khutor. Can teenager Mikaela Shiffrin add the Olympic gold medal to the world title she won in 2013?
