Boston on America's eastern seaboard has lots on offer for a great getaway - it's famous for its history, Ivy League universities, top-notch museums and first-class seafood. Highlights for Joe and Aoibhinn include following the Freedom Trail through the city to take in the key sights, visiting a museum dedicated to an iconic Irish-American - John F Kennedy, boarding the Boston Tea Party Ship and an excursion to Boston's weekend playground, Cape Cod.

Aoibhinn also takes a short getaway to the Glens of Antrim, where she visits Glenariff Forest Park, Glenarm Castle, Carnfunnock Country Park and the National Trust village of Cushendun.

  • Museum of Science

    Boston is a place replete with museums on every subject, in this episode Joe visits the Children's Museum and had a lot fun. Aoibhinn, however, visited the Science Museum where they try to cover just about every branch of science – there’s the physics of lightning, some zoology with a butterfly house on the roof, a special mathematics section, and a tribute to the moon landings.

  • Short Getaway: Glens of Antrim

    Glens of Antrim
    This week Aoibhinn travels around 25 from the bustle of Belfast to enjoy the Glens of Antrim. The Glens are located between Larne and Ballycastle, along a 40 mile stretch of the Antrim Coast road. Highlights include Glenariff Forest Park, Carnfunnock Country Park and the stunning Glenarm Estate.
