Jonathan Edwards presents coverage of the Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country from the scenic surroundings of Holyrood Park, Edinburgh.

Headlining the event is an international men's 4km race featuring two of the world's best distance runners. Ethiopia's Kenenisa Bekele, a former world and Olympic champion, takes on Kenya's Asbel Kiprop, the current world 1500m champion. Kiprop defeated Bekele over 3km at Edinburgh in 2012, but Bekele will be buoyed by the form he showed in winning 2013's Great North Run ahead of Mo Farah and Haile Gebrselassie.

The Great Edinburgh Cross Country also includes the international team challenge which sees senior and junior teams from Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the USA and Europe competing in four separate races, with the aim of taking the overall team challenge title.
