Petula Clark

Russell Davies interview A-list legends of music, art, comedy and film. This week sees Russell meet British singer and actress Petula Clark.

Petula's career has spanned an incredible seven decades. Starting her music career from an early age entertaining troops and wartime audiences on the wireless, she went on to release numerous hit singles including the Grammy Award winning "Downtown". She has also made a name for herself on the big screen with films such as "Finian's Rainbow" and "Goodbye Mr. Chips", as well as on stage, starring in "Blood Brothers" and "The Sound of Music".

She speaks to Russell about her art, alongside a soundtrack inspired by her career.
