  • Family’s plea for a change in the law after the jail sentence for Andrew Lorimer’s killers.

    Another week and another family deeply disappointed by the legal system here. Andrew Lorimer was brutally attacked in his home last year. A gang of three men had beaten the Lurgan man to death with a hammer.

    Now Andrew's family have spoken out. They want a change to the law because they're disgusted at the sentence given to his killers.

  • Plans for a medal for every PSNI officer with three years’ service.

    The BBC has learned that the PSNI is planning to award all staff with three years' service a medal. It's thought the total cost of awarding the medals will be around £320,000. Is this a good use of public money?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

    BBC NI Controller Peter Johnston's pie was on behalf of all BBC NI staff

    and the Nolan Show team got their own back on Stephen
