Ivan Smagghe

Over the past three decades France has been at the epicentre of electro's explosion - and one of the key figures behind it has been Ivan Smagghe.
Initially going by the moniker Ivan Rough Trade, because of his day job working in the Parisian outlet of the record store, he went on to inspire the likes of Justice and release seminal compilations like 2004's 'Death Disco'.
He's also been part of a number of successful side projects, like Black Strove, Volga Select and RMVN with Roman Fugel.
As a close friend of 6 Mix resident Andrew Weatherall, and affectionately regarded as one of those DJs DJs, his two hour show will reflect his genre defying and defining production work.
