Today marks the 500th anniversary of the tragedy of the Battle of Flodden. To commemorate, Stirling Castle are holding a series of events, including an art exhibition by Iona Leishman, called Catastrophe to Crown. Iona joins BBC presenter Dr Fiona Watson as they both talk to Janice about the anniversary.
BBC ALBA celebrates 5 years on screen this year and has announced details of the first ever pilot for a Gaelic drama series to be broadcast on the channel. Still in its initial stages of production, the three-part drama titled 'Bannan' or in English 'The Ties That Bind' will come to TV screens next year.
