Simon welcomes American novelist, Jonathan Dee, to the Radio 2 Book Club to discuss his latest book, A Thousand Pardons. We'll hear from our listener review panel about what they thought of the novel - and get Matt Williams and Rebecca Pike's take on the book.

Jonathan Dee is the author of six novels, including The Privileges - a finalist for the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. He is a staff writer for The New York Times Magazine and teaches in the graduate writing programmes at Columbia University.

We'll also unleash a brand new Confession onto the Collective and help you with your homework.

Plus, Matt Williams will have the latest sport and Rebecca Pike brings us the money news.

    A Thousand Pardons is a suspenseful page-turner, which takes on the world of high-stakes, scandals and public apologies. The story is an eery thriller, full of intrigue and interesting characters.


    About Jonathan


    Jonathan Dee is an American author. He was born in New York City, and received a B.A. in American Studies from Yale University, where he studied fiction writing 

    He is the author of six novels, and his 2010 novel, “The Privileges”, won the 2011 Prix Fitzgerald prize and was a finalist for the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
