Everton FC has apologised for re-designing the crest without consulting fans. It says the new version will stand for the next season only, before a full consultation over a new design ready for the 2014-15 season. Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson - a massive Toffees fan - welcomes the change of heart.

Programmes like Skint, People Like Us, My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding and Here Comes Honey Boo Boo have been getting huge ratings - but critics say they're little more than "poverty porn".
