All the way down the pipes from London Village it's Mr Sam Amidon in session.

Bright Sunny South is Sam's current and 6th studio album.

Brought up in Vermont by parents who were themselves folk musicians Sam played mainly the violin whilst growing up. This love of folk music drove Sam to seek out producer Jerry Boys (Martin Carthy, Maddy Prior, Sandy Deny) to co-produce this new album.

Musicians on the album include Sam's childhood friend Thomas Bartlett (a.k.a. Doveman), multi-instrumentalists Shahzad Ismaily, Chris Vatalaro. and Jazz trumpeter Kenny Wheeler. Amidon himself not only sings but also plays banjo, fiddle, acoustic guitar, and piano on the album.

Now that's what you call talented.
