Mansfield Park

Adaptation of Jane Austen's classic romance.

Born into a poor family, Fanny Price is despatched to the palatial estate at Mansfield Park to live under the patronage of her aunt and uncle Bertram. Initially Fanny is distraught at the loss of her family and is daunted by the house and its inhabitants, and only her friendship with the sensitive Edmund reassures her. In time though, Fanny becomes an elegant, smart young woman with a passion for literature. As an integral member of the house, she becomes embroiled in its many dramas.
