Russell heralds the arrival of May with Matt Monro's famous recording of a Carmichael classic 'One Morning In May', following it with an even more celebrated one by Rodgers and Hart, discovering, as he does, the meaning of Larry Hart's lyric - 'It is Moving Day'. The first of May was indeed, traditionally, Moving Day for it saw the exodus of many whose rents had been put up three months earlier.
