This week we're honouring listener requests in the form of songs by the likes of James Taylor, Angela and The Fans, Mike Berry, The Beatles and Chris Andrews.

The focus of our 'They Sang It First Feature' is on Marie Knight, who first began recording in 1946 as a member of the The Sunset Four. After a successful recording career with the Millionaires, fast forward to the late fifties and Marie was touring Britain with Humphrey Lyttelton's band after leaving gospel music behind and turning her hand to R&B. In 1961 Marie sang the original version of 'Come Tomorrow', later covered by sixties stalwarts Manfred Mann.
