    Geraldine Foley, secretary of the Newry and Portadown branch of the Inland Waterways Association of Ireland and Aidan McKay a member of the club speak to Annemarie about a Special Sailing Showcase organised by Carlingford Lough Yacht Club and the return of dinghys to the canal this Saturday.

    Dinghy Sailing in Newry Canal, at the Albert Basin down at the Quays in Newry organised by Carlingford Lough Yacht Club, on today, between 12 and 4 pm.

  • Belfast Naturalists Field Club

    Liam McCaughey is the current President of the Belfast Naturalists Field Club and Peter Crowther is Curator of the Ulster Museum are on to tell us more about the field club and its 150th year anniversary.

    Citizen Science, 150 years of the Belfast Naturalists Field Club is on at the Ulster Museum until the 2nd of June and there are field trips coming up the first meeting of the Federation of Irish Field Clubs is next Saturday, April 20th in the Ulster Museum at Queens at 10am.

  • Warrior Bootcamp

    Kieran McMahon leader of the Warriors Bootcamp at the Navan Centre will be telling Annemarie more about the Red Branch Knights and how the ancient celts of Navan prepared for battle.

    The Warrior Schools are happening over the next few Saturdays and Sundays at Navan in County Armagh - staring today between 2 and 4 pm - the same next weekend and the final one is 27th and 28th April. The telephone number to book is 028 3752 9644.
