A new study by NFU Mutual shows a third of young people in rural communities fear having to leave their local area to find work. It's thought a shortage of careers for school leavers and 20-somethings mean the rural brain drain is continuing, with communities being emptied of their young people who are heading off in search of jobs in the big cities.
