Jack’s released on bail. Sharon’s looking after Lexi, she furious when Jack claims the incident was self-defence, he didn’t meant to hurt Phil. She storms off to visit Phil in hospital. Shirley warns Jack to watch his back. At the hospital, Phil tells Sharon he’s desperate to be released so he can look after Lexi. Taking Max’s advice, Jack apologises to Phil, he only did what he did because of his feelings for Sharon. Sharon says she can take a few days off to look after Phil. Defeated, Jack acquiesces. Sharon agrees to stay at Phil’s because of the terms of Lexi’s residency. Phil knows Jack won’t like it. Phil tells the police the incident was his fault, he’s not making a statement. Sharon tells Jack and is frustrated when he’s adamant Phil has an agenda. Sharon tells Jack if he needs her she’ll be at Phil’s.
Dot’s relieved when Poppy insists on accompanying her to her council meeting but Poppy’s not allowed into the interview. Dot answers all the questions honestly. She’s horrified to learn that further action might be taken over her lodgers, rent arrears and possible benefit fraud but covers to Poppy, claiming the meeting went well.
Patrick’s pride gets the better of him when Denise cuts up his food in the café. Lucy snaps at Tamwar then admits she’s getting her biopsy results that day. In order to accompany Lucy, Denise hires a carer, Magda, to look after Patrick. Patrick misses the note left by Kim; and is furious when Magda turns up. A thrilled Lucy tells Tamwar she got the all clear.
Tamwar’s unimpressed to find Masood making Ayesha breakfast. Later, Ayesha collars Tamwar in the café. After failing to win Tamwar round, Ayesha asks Masood to leave Walford with her.
