But is the realistic situation in 2013 that this is no longer a option? There's report out today about the spiralling cost of childcare. The Daycare Trust points out that having a child under two in nursery full time can cost up to a thousand pounds a month, its not that much cheaper as they get older. If you've got a large family do you regret it? Have you had to make too many sacrifices to make the family budget work?
