Suede playlist

Tom and the 6 Music listeners compile the ultimate Suede playlist, ahead of their Maida Vale session for Lauren Laverne the next day. The playlist will be led by the listeners, who will be encouraged to pick tracks from across the bands career, as well as the various solo and side projects, their peers, influences and other artist connected to the band in ways the listeners suggest.

Suede release their first album for 11 years next month, called Bloodsports. The band burst onto the UK music scene in 1992 with huge press coverage and acclaim, and their self titled debut album topped the chart on release the following year, and went on to win the Mercury Music Prize. They released 4 subsequent albums up to 2002, and after difficulties had mounted up within the band, split the following year. They re-united in 2010 for live performaces, which has eventually led to the new album.
