6 Music's Greatest Hits

As we say farewell to 6Music's 10 year anniversary celebrations, we thought it was high time we looked back at all the brilliant new music we have played here the station during our life so far.

We here at 6 Music have been searching for the greatest song released during our lifetime. Presenters and the staff upstairs in the office have sifted through the thousands of songs released in the last ten years and somehow come up with a shortlist of 100 songs we think truly are 6Music's Greatest Hits, all released between March 2002 and the end of 2012.

We're collated all your votes and have come up with a Top 100 Countdown. From 4pm today Lammo will be counting down number 30 to number 1 and revealing 6 Music's Greatest Hit.

Then, after 6pm, we'll have another Free For All, made up of tracks that didn't make the Top 100.
