Clare Balding presents her first Good Morning Sunday with guests Donny & Marie Osmond and talks to them about their faith as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her faith guest is Rabbi Pete Tobias.

Speaking about her new weekly show, Clare said: "I am thrilled to be asked to be a part of the Radio 2 family and look forward to sharing Sunday mornings with listeners who know their eggs from their onions, who enjoy music, conversation and sharing ideas. I'm also looking forward to exploring the whole nature of faith and why it's so important in people's lives.".

    Rabbi Pete Tobias

    Rabbi Pete Tobias is a writer and broadcaster, and Rabbi of The Liberal Synagogue Elstree. Rabbi Pete is well known to Radio 2 listeners, appearing on Good Morning Sunday and Pause for Thought on Chris Evans’ weekday show. Rabbi Pete grew up in the Elstree area and began his working life as a primary school teacher. He trained for the rabbinate and served the Birmingham Progressive Synagogue and the Glasgow New Synagogue (Reform) before joining The Liberal Synagogue Elstree (TLSE). Rabbi Pete is principal of the synagogue’s Religion School and runs regular adult education classes, bar- and bat-mitzvah classes, hosts Shabbat suppers, as well as leading services, officiating at life cycle events and advising congregants and potential members. He is also the driving force behind the synagogue's new teenage rock band, 'Shul of Rock'. Pete admits to being an ardent supporter of Watford FC since the early 1970s.
