This week Gilles focuses on the music, playing live tracks from Flora Purim, Sun Ra and Marlena Shaw in tribute to Claude Nobs, the man behind the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival, who died this week. There's a play of jazz poet Jayne Cortez as well, who also passed away recently.
On the new music front, there's plenty to discover, with new music from BadBadNotGood, Flume, Machinedrum, Laura MVula, and Nosaj Thing, alongside current favourites from Toro Y Moi, Chris Turner and Lulu James. Lovely stuff.
