With gastronaut Stefan Gates and Level 42's Mark King

3 hours
First broadcast:
Monday 17 December 2012

Gastronaut Stefan Gates joins Shaun for a Smörgåsbord of food and fun. Stefan is a writer, TV presenter, food adventurer, and a passionate ambassador for the wilder side of food. He has published five books, including The Extraordinary Cookbook, and has made seven TV series, including two series of "Gastronauts" for CBBC, "E Numbers: An Edible Adventure" for BBC2 and "Cooking in the Danger Zone" which won the Best TV series at the Bologna Food on Film Festival.

Plus Mark King of Level 42 fame joins Shaun on the blower to discuss all things cheesy, and the making of The Cheddar Cheese Song (which will be revealed on Wednesday).

The nation shares its Earworm tracks (the ones that have wriggled in at night only to wake you up on a loop first thing), and news horse Matt Everitt delivers up-to-the-minute music news.

All this is wrapped up in a huge snuggly duvet of kicking alternative tunes, both old and new, and a breakfast show devotee applauds something wonderful in the world with a Song Of Praise.
