    The legendary film maker Sam Goldwyn is reputed to have said of one of his creations: ‘I don’t care if it doesn’t make a cent - so long as every man, woman and child in the country sees it.’

    Would that have been his verdict on any of the films we’ll be talking about today? We are reviewing just a few of the year’s DVD releases. They might have broken box office records, or made barely a cent, but would our panel be enthusiastic enough to want the world to watch them?
