One Singular Sensation - Marvin Hamlisch

Friday Night is Music Night presents 'One Singular Sensation', a concert in tribute to the great composer Marvin Hamlisch. Hamlisch's musicals include 'A Chorus Line' and 'They're Playing My Song', his movie scores include 'Sophie's Choice' and 'The Sting' and his popular songs include the classic Bond song 'Nobody Does It Better' and 'The Way We Were'. Tonight's concert is conducted by Marvin's long time friend Larry Blank and features the sixty piece BBC Concert Orchestra, Capital Voices, West End singers Sharon D. Clarke and Louise Dearman and special appearances from Sir Tim Rice and the original choreographer of 'A Chorus Line' Bob Avian. Ken Bruce presents .
