Tom compiles the ultimate Jimi Hendrix playlist with help from the 6 Music community. The ultimate guitar legend would have been 70 this week. He was born in Seattle but was brought over to London in 1966, and this almost instantly brought him fame through the recognition of other reputable guitar players such as Pete Townsend and Eric Clapton. Next spring a previously unheard Hendrix album called People, Hell and Angels is set for release.
