Tom chats to Jamie McDermott of experimental orchestral and electronic act The Irrepressibles, who recently released their second album Nude.
Formed in 2002, The Irrepressibles have gradually made a name for themselves with their unique and unusual take on modern classical music. Their live appearances are much more of a show and incorporate visuals and performance art. They have performed at numerous festivals and institutions including the V&A, Southbank Centre, Barbican, Paris quartier d'été, Cite de La Musique (France), Vie Festival and Sexto Festival (Italy), and the Holland Festival. They released their debut album Mirror Mirror in 2010.
Huw Stephens from Radio 1 shares his personal tip from BBC Introducing.
