Episode 1 of 5

Duration: 6 minutes

Amber Jane Butchart, a professional fashion and beauty analyst, and Raphael Babalola, who runs a healthy lifestyle company, investigate why companies usually use super skinny, super tall, super young white girls in their marketing campaigns.

The programme looks at what size 'real' women are and reveals that men actually like women in all shapes, sizes and colours. Amber and Raphael look at new research that suggests women would still spend money on clothing if advertisers used 'real-sized' models.

So who is to blame for the promotion of non-diverse, over-airbrushed images that can make people feel inadequate?
