Tom Rush's 1968 track, No Regrets, is the choice for this week's They Sang It First feature.

The song is notably more famous for becoming a huge hit for The Walker Brothers in 1976 and then it was covered by Midge Ure in 1982. But it was Rush who initially wrote and recorded the track, which was inspired by his girlfriend of the time, Jill. Brian explains a little more about the story behind the song.

An avid request for Petula Clark, sees her being the subject of our Three In A Row feature as we play three of her greatest hits: Sailor, Romeo and Downtown.

Aside from this expect more facts and figures from this golden era as Brian plays some classic tracks and perhaps forgotten tracks from this era, including songs from the likes of: Vince Hill, Otis Redding, The Turtles and Gary Miller.
