In the year that the veterans of Bomber Command finally received recognition for their bravery in WW2, we meet a former rear gunner who recalls his first bomber mission and the daily dangers risked by every bomber boy. We hear from a Navy medic, whose quick thinking saved the lives of six of his fellow servicemen. Gethin meets our soldier's most unusual 'allies' when he joins the Military Working Dogs Squadron.
