Mark Williams Thomas, the former detective who led the ITV investigation into Jimmy Savile, tells Kevin Cook, a victim of Savile's, how brave he is to have spoken out about his abuse. He says the past six weeks, including the row over the failed Newsnight report, have generally had a positive impact on victims of sexual abuse.

Victoria also looks at the elections for Police and Crime Commissioners in England and Wales. The Electoral Reform Society says turnout could be as low as eighteen percent.
