The Writer
Lizzie is a talented young playwright whose new play THE SWALLOWING DARK was a finalist for The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize 2010. She was one of the writers of the critically acclaimed UNPROTECTED, which was awarded the Amnesty International Award for Freedom of Expression. Lizzie has also had numerous radio plays broadcast including PRINTS: POSTCARDS FROM A CATACLYSM, THE SINGER, TINY CHAOS,DEATH IN UPPER DUKE STREET and an adaptation of a Dick Clement and Ian le Frenais script for Radio 4's DECADES season. She is currently under commission with the Druid Theatre and is Writer in Residence at Liverpool Hope University.
