With Jeremy Dyson

Duration:
3 hours
First broadcast:
Thursday 01 November 2012

Shaun delivers northern witty wisdom, expels another wriggly Earworm track, and plays tunes to gladden the heart.

There's a killer Touch Me In The Morning track lurking in the playlist to make you sob like a baby. Tissues at the ready!

Plus, there's up-to-the minute music news courtesy of news horse (and former Menswear drummer) Matt Everit and Jeremy Dyson chats about his new book.

Jeremy Dyson is the co-creator of The League of Gentleman, the sell-out West-End hit show Ghost Stories (which tours in the new year) and the creator of the hit TV series Psychobitches. His novel The Haunted Book is published on the 1st November. Jeremy has been intrigued with our fascination with ghosts, phenomena and the unexplained throughout his career and has a very personal interest in the subject. Jeremy believes that ghosts and horrors originate from our primal fears, such as fear of dark places, fear of madness etc, which appear in classic ghost stories. He chats about where our seemingly endless appetite for ghosts and the macabre comes from, why ghost stories are so perennially popular, what makes a classic ghost story, and why our minds can be tricked into seeing things that are not really there.
