Richard McCourt
Richard McCourt (Dick) is one half of the famous children’s comedy television duo Dick and Dom. They shot to fame with their programme ‘Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow’ and have been a double act since the early 2000’s. They are currently presenting ‘Dick and Dom’s Hoopla’ for CBBC. In 2005 Richard’s mother was diagnosed with Picks Disease – a form of Dementia. She was just 58 at the time and the diagnosis itself was a long drawn out affair, but he and his family made the decision to look after her themselves rather than put her into a care home.
