Continuing our new feature They Sang It First, this week we have Hi-Ho Silver Lining by The Attack - suggested by one of our regular listeners because it is often considered that the track was originally recorded by Jeff Beck. However, it was The Attack who actually recorded the song and released their version 3 weeks ahead of Beck.

Brian will be introducing our listener requests and we'll be Playing Hard To Get with Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. The comedic pair are well known for not exactly being PC, and this track is no exception to the rule. Bo Dudley is a song they penned about blind jazz musicians. It is very funny though. Alongside all of this Brian will be sharing his usual anecdotes and unveiling the stories behind some of the songs of the era. Music this week comes from Della Reese, The Yardbirds, a very young Lulu, Jackie Lee, The Spiral Staircase and The Ventures - to name but a few.
