Duration: 1 hour, 15 minutes
Jake Humphrey is joined by David Coulthard for highlights of the qualifying session in Japan. The famous 18-turn figure-of-eight circuit first hosted the Japanese Grand Prix in 1987. It is famed for its Crossover Bridge, Spoon Curve and popular giant funfair, held each year in the surrounding grounds. In 2011 it was Sebastian Vettel who left it late to capture pole position from Jenson Button by just nine thousandths of a second. Lewis Hamilton had taken provisional top spot, but was forced to abort his second run after losing track position, which allowed Vettel and Button to leap-frog him on the grid. It was a fifth straight pole for the German.
