Europe's side, led by Jose Maria Olazabal, have lifted the famous trophy on four out of the last five occasions. At Celtic Manor in 2010, Graeme McDowell held his nerve to win the final singles match to give Europe a narrow victory over the USA after an extraordinary four days in south Wales in which rain had played havoc with the schedules.
The singles matches went into a fourth day and the USA's team came perilously close to retaining the Cup, but their fightback fell just short and Colin Montgomerie's side prevailed by a single point, 141/2-131/2. Commentary comes from Peter Alliss, Ken Brown and Nick Faldo.
