A celebration of British music, orchestrated by artistic director Kim Gavin, forms the centrepiece of the Closing Ceremony as the curtain formally comes down on the 30th Olympiad. The Olympic flame is extinguished and the Olympic flag handed over to the Mayor of Rio as the athletes of the world say goodbye to London 2012 and look forward to 2016.
