Sunday 05 August 2012

BBC Radio 6 Music is celebrating 50 years of Jamaican Independence and Nemone invites the English writer and dub poet, Benjamin Zephaniah, for a special Marathon Record Exchange.

Nemone will spend an hour with Benjamin swapping music, talking though his Jamaican heritage and the written word.

And singer and Slits member Hollie Cook curates her Jamaican inspired Most Played. From reggae to dancehall, Hollie chooses songs from the likes of Prince Fatty, Susan Cadogan and Shabba Ranks.
