BBC Films and Film4 have come together for the first time to co-commission a selection of short films for the London 2012 Festival that showcase great UK filmmaking talent. An aerial montage, with voiceovers, of the announcement of London winning the 2012 Olympic Games and the horrific events that followed. Past games - dating back to the 1908 White City - are also remembered.
