Several districts in Syria's biggest city Aleppo have been coming under heavy bombardment by government troops. Opposition forces say the army is trying to flush them out of the area. There are reports of a large number of casualties. The Independent newspaper's Kim Sengupta, who is on the outskirts of Aleppo tells us about Assad's assault on the city.
