Duration: 2 hours, 35 minutes

Live coverage of the British Grand Prix from Silverstone, the ninth of 20 races in the calendar.

The 24-car field includes the last five winners of this race. Ferrari's Fernando Alonso took the chequered flag in 2011, when Lewis Hamilton thrilled the home crowd with his charge up the field to finish fourth by holding off Felipe Massa on the finish line. However, the wheels literally came off for Hamilton's McLaren team-mate Jenson Button, who is making his 13th attempt to earn his first Silverstone podium.

Commentary comes from Ben Edwards and David Coulthard, with expert analysis by Eddie Jordan.
