    Queen visits the East Midlands

    Thousands of people have greeted the Queen as she begins a day-long visit to the East Midlands.

    The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met the Queen at Nottingham, where Prince William made his official tribute to the Queen for the Jubilee.

    She will unveil plaques in Nottingham and Corby and attend a picnic at Burghley House in Lincolnshire.
