As 6 Music's Punk Britannia season continues, Captain Sensible shares his record collection and reminisces on the explosive years of punk.

Captain Sensible played bass with The Damned, the first group to release a punk single in the UK. New Rose sparked an intense period of creativity from British punk bands including The Damned's seminal early albums.

As a solo performer, Captain Sensible topped the charts in 1982 with Happy Talk and has made many colourful appearances on British TV and radio.
