Jackie Bird and Kheredine Idessane join more than 8,000 members of the public on the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle to celebrate
the last full day of the Olympic Torch Relay in Scotland.
Since it arrived on Thursday evening, communities from Stranraer to Shetland and from Stornoway to St Andrews have been out
in force to welcome the flame as the convoy passes some of Scotland's most historic and iconic landmarks.
As the torch approaches the castle, there's an opportunity to reflect on those images and the stories of those involved, before
the highlight of the evening when the Cauldron is lit in the shadow of the castle walls.
