World Championship Series - San Diego

Sonali Shah introduces the best of the action and reaction from the second leg of the World Series in San Diego, featuring Britain's world champion Helen Jenkins and fellow Olympic medal prospect Jonny Brownlee.

As the birthplace of triathlon, San Diego provided a homecoming for the annual eight-stage series, which decides the overall world champion. Jenkins won the women's title for a second time last year and began the defence of her crown with second place behind Australia's Erin Densham in Sydney last month.

Jonny Brownlee skipped that event, but had the opportunity in San Diego to emerge from the shadow of his brother and world champion Alistair, who is recovering from an achilles injury.
