It is the battle of the London and South East chefs - newcomers Phil Howard, Graham Garrett and Marcus McGuinness. All of them are determined to knock out their rivals in the race to the Olympic banquet.

They cook their main course, but only one chef will take gold. Will it be Phil with roast loin of lamb with pie and mash, carrots, nettles and mint; Graham with slow cooked marsh lamb breast, rasher and spiced rissole; or Marcus with blade of beef cooked in hay, tendons and beetroot?

Great British Menu veteran Jason Atherton is scoring them all week.
