See Hear, Series 32 Episode 6 of 38

The programme is down on the farm with an assistant herdsman to find out what life is like for a deaf dairy farmer and his 120 cows. We continue our series looking at influential deaf people from the past, this week focusing attention on Scottish artist Walter Geikie. And we find out how one man, left deaf by meningitis, is subjecting himself to a year of punishing endurance challenges to raise money for research into the disease.
